Overview

BronchoQuest (the "App") is an educational application for learning bronchoscopy navigation. The App is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, patient management, or medical decision-making.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and how it is stored or deleted.

Developer Information

Information We Collect

1. Subscription Information

The App uses App Store in-app purchases (auto-renewable subscriptions) to provide premium features.

• Information checked in the App: purchase status, subscription entitlement status, and StoreKit transaction information required to restore purchases
• Managed by: Apple Inc. through the App Store and StoreKit
• Information not received by the developer: name, email address, payment card number, or Apple Account credentials
• Purpose: verifying access to premium features and restoring purchases

2. Device Information

The current App Store version does not send device identifiers, device names, or device models to a developer-operated server to verify access to premium features. Subscription entitlement checks and purchase restoration are handled through StoreKit.

3. Gameplay Data

The App processes gameplay data on the user's device for the learning experience and result screens.

• Scores
• Reached bronchial segments
• Wall contact counts
• Play time
• Streak records

Storage location: only on the user's device. The App currently does not transmit gameplay data to an external server.

Purpose: displaying statistics, showing learning progress, and providing performance feedback

The App does not collect patient information, real medical records, HealthKit data, clinical information, medical images, or personal health information.

Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect:

• Contact information such as name, email address, or phone number
• Location data
• Contacts
• Camera, microphone, or photo library contents
• HealthKit or Clinical Records API data
• Patient, diagnosis, or treatment information
• Advertising identifier (IDFA)
• Tracking data from advertising or analytics SDKs

Data Sharing

The App does not sell, share, or provide collected data to advertising networks, data brokers, or third-party advertising providers.

Subscription processing is provided by Apple Inc. Apple's privacy policy applies to payment information and purchase information processed by Apple.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local Data

• Gameplay data is processed on the user's device.
• Deleting the App generally deletes locally stored data.

Subscription Information

• Purchase and billing information is managed by Apple.
• Users can manage subscriptions in the iOS Settings app or the App Store.

User Choices and Consent

Users can review this Privacy Policy before purchasing a subscription. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through the iOS Settings app or the App Store.

Data Security

The App uses appropriate safeguards to protect collected information, including:

• Secure payment processing through the App Store and StoreKit
• Limiting data use to the purposes described in this policy
• No advertising or tracking use
• Local data protection through standard iOS security features

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. It is designed for medical education and is primarily intended for healthcare professionals, medical students, and educators.

About Subscriptions

Auto-Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew.
• They can be canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancellation is managed through the App Store subscription settings.

How to Cancel

1. Open the iOS Settings app
2. Open "[Your Name]" and then "Subscriptions"
3. Select "BronchoQuest"
4. Select "Cancel Subscription"

Refunds

Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store refund policy.

The App uses the following Apple services:

• StoreKit: subscription management
• App Store: purchase processing and purchase restoration

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when App functionality changes, laws or guidelines change, or operational needs require updates. Material changes will be communicated through the App or App Store information where appropriate.
